Troitsky Line: March of Robots 2024
Client: Self-Initiated
This year’s series showcases an eclectic battle of robotic musicians, each representing a different genre—from jazz and thrash metal to hip hop, pop, and drone metal—all hosted by a quirky, charismatic figure. Like a grand chess tournament, each band occupies its own musical square, ready to make strategic moves.
Each robot embodies its genre’s spirit while maintaining unique characteristics, much like individual chess pieces contributing to a grand strategy. Interspersed throughout the performance are cleverly designed robotic advertisements, adding a playful twist to this musical showdown.
This collection, created as part of the March of Robots challenge, reflects the artist’s commitment to creativity and character development, showcasing their ability to think several moves ahead. The overall composition exudes energy and movement, as these robotic musicians prepare to outmaneuver each other on the chessboard of music. This series not only celebrates the intersection of technology and art but also highlights the artist’s strategic approach to this daily drawing challenge.
